Expansión del mercado de transporte inteligente en Polonia

En los últimos años se han desarrollado proyectos de movilidad y transporte inteligente por toda Polonia. Los dos factores fundamentales que han influido en esta tendencia han sido la disponibilidad de fondos de la UE y la importancia creciente de la movilidad en la agenda política.

Se estima que en el periodo 2007-2013 se invirtieron 915 millones de euros en proyectos de movilidad y transporte inteligente en el país. Un 40 por ciento de esta cifra se dedicó a la compra de dispositivos relacionados con el transporte y la movilidad inteligente, como cámaras, sensores y detectores. Se espera que en el actual Marco Financiero Plurianual (MFP) 2014-2020 de la UE esta cifra pueda duplicarse. Sin embargo, el cumplimiento de estas previsiones estará ligado a la capacidad de las autoridades municipales y de los gobiernos locales para aplicar con éxito la financiación disponible.

Este volumen de negocio, así como las perspectivas de crecimiento, han atraído a numerosas compañías tanto locales como internacionales. Los principales competidores son empresas polacas y compañías del entorno más próximo como Europa Central y del Este, países nórdicos y Europa Occidental. Entre los competidores se observa que la presencia local y la dimensión de la empresa son características determinantes a la hora de afrontar los proyectos. Además, tras el análisis de la competencia y las opiniones de los expertos, se llega a la conclusión de que en este mercado la búsqueda de socios y la contratación de personal local que aporten el conocimiento del idioma, el país y la cultura son elementos clave para las empresas extranjeras.
